Hi! I’m Felicia, the artist behind Blue House Paperie! This little art business began in 2013, with a wedding invitation design for a friend, but quickly grew into a full time business as my house portraits were featured Country Living Magazine! It is named after our first little blue house where it all began!
Since then, this business has grown and evolved alongside me and new seasons of life (hellllooo parenthood)! I have loved creating collections of beautiful illustrations, prints, and tea towels that capture the beautiful world around us!
As long as I can remember, I have enjoyed creating and making things beautiful! From my very first drawing class at 8 in the upstairs of an art shop, to painting classes in college, to all of the fun projects in between, I love to look for beauty and to capture a little piece of that through my art.
These days, painting is my quiet spot in the day, a moment to slow down in the midst of taking care of 3 kiddos (so.much.laundry). It’s a moment to delight in the details, to take notice of the good gifts that God has given us through His creation and each other.
I always hope that my art is a piece of joy in your home, a bright spot of encouragement in your day and a reminder to delight in the details.
